Jean Brunelin, Author & Photographer
Jean Brunelin was born in 1946 in a pot. The history of the Brunelin family begins in Sète in 1680 at the Bordigue district, the Capuchin family of Catalan fishermen... Then at the Pointe Courte where he came from. Coming from twelve generations of Sétois, Jean Brunelin has lived multiple lives. Photographer at Paris-Match in the sixties, former owner of legendary restaurants, including Le Pêcheur de Lune, in Cap d'Agde in 1972, with his friend the cabanaïre Lolo, “an extraordinary fish cook”, who never hesitated to lend him a hand. A true culinary encyclopedia of the city-port and the South whose mission is to preserve the authenticity of our recipes, simple or emblematic. Added to the proverbial knack is a singular look that makes him a great photographer. As proof, his portraits and landscapes of Cuba, Cetara, the port of Sète... which he sprinkles on his Facebook page.
